About the event
Challenge: Anchor & Mooring Gear
Learning the importance of anchors and chains in the boating and shipping industry will be the focus of this activity. The kids will tour the museum, inside and out, to see and learn the different types of anchors, then they will be tasked with making their own chain from one piece of paper and using their ingenuity to make it the longest possible chain!
