LBIHA Speaker Series
We’re excited to introduce a fresh new format for our Speaker Series—designed to make exploring local history more accessible, engaging, and fun than ever before. Each presentation will highlight the rich history of Long Beach Island and its surrounding areas, bringing our past to life through compelling stories and expert insights.
Programs will be held every third Wednesday, beginning January 21 and continuing through June 17, with sessions alternating between in-person and online.
Join us in person at the museum at 1:00 PM (doors open at 12:30), where we’ll welcome you with delicious, warm coffee provided by Whittingham Coffee House and tasty morsels from Baked on the Beach for a relaxed and social afternoon of learning. All donations are gratefully received!

Prefer to tune in from home? Our History Happy Hour, held online via Zoom at 5:00 PM, kicks off with our favorite bartender, Tony Anderson of Bartender Please, LLC showcasing a featured cocktail inspired by the evening’s topic. Ingredients will be shared ahead of time so you can follow along, mix your own drink, and enjoy the program while learning about the history of LBI and its surrounding areas. Online programs - all donations will be gratefully received.
Whether onsite or online, this new series offers a fun and engaging way to connect with the stories that make Long Beach Island and its surrounding communities so special.
